Refund Policy

Smppcube is delivered as source code that goes into infrastructure you own. This policy explains exactly when a purchase can be refunded, and why the window closes at installation.

1. The principle

Smppcube is not a subscription you can switch off: it is source code delivered onto servers you control. Once we hand over the code and begin deploying it into your production environment, the delivery cannot be “taken back”: you hold the code. For that reason our refund window is tied to a single, clear line: whether installation has begun.

In one sentence: refundable before installation starts; not refundable once installation or source-code delivery has begun, because the deliverable is in your possession.

2. Before installation begins: refundable

If you have paid but we have not yet delivered the source code and have not begun installation or deployment, you may request a full refund of the licence fee. We will process it to your original payment method, less any non-recoverable transaction fees where permitted by law.

  • “Installation has begun” means we have shared the source code with you, or started deploying, configuring, or provisioning it in your environment, whichever happens first.
  • If work is scheduled but not started, you are still within the refundable window.

3. After installation begins: not refundable

Once the source code has been delivered or installation has started, the licence fee is non-refundable, because the code is now in your possession and cannot be returned or revoked. This is standard for source-available, self-hosted software.

If something we delivered does not work as described, that is a support matter, not a refund: we will fix it under your support tier. Reach out and we will make it right.

4. Support, training & add-ons

  • Support/maintenance already consumed is non-refundable; an unused, prepaid future period may be cancellable pro-rata at our discretion.
  • Training and migration are refundable up to the point work begins; once delivered, they are non-refundable.
  • Managed hosting or custom-branding engagements are quoted per scope and governed by that engagement’s terms.

5. Consumer withdrawal rights

If you buy as a consumer and the law gives you a statutory right of withdrawal for digital content, that right may end once supply begins with your prior express consent and your acknowledgement that you lose the right to withdraw. Where we ask for that consent before delivery, the “after installation” rule above reflects it. Nothing in this policy removes rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

6. How to request a refund

Email support@cubelabs.in with your order reference and the reason for the request, before installation begins. We aim to acknowledge within two business days and to process approved refunds promptly to your original payment method.
